Tried & Tested Patterns are a series of two CD-ROMs. These CD-ROMs in my opinion are unique. These patterns have been collected and collated over the last several years by myself from the many friends and rivals in both the 'competition' and 'pleasure' angling scene in the UK, Eire and abroad. There are patterns that have caught many fish at Rutland Water, Grafham Water, Bewl Bridge, Chew Valley, Eyebrook, Pitsford, Carsington, Foremark Llyn Brenig, Stocks, Loch Leven and the Lake of Menteith, plus over venues form the Bahamas to Tasmania ... The first in the series: Tried & Tested I contains 250 successful Fly Fishing Patterns. The second CD-Rom, aptly named, Tried & Tested II, contains a further 150 Patterns. Both these collections have recently been updated to give you even higher photographic definition on the series of pattern photographs. All of the Flyfishing Patterns indexed on the CD-ROMs have been linked for easy exploration and your convenience. All the Dressings and Materials required to tie that pattern are listed, along with a brief description of how to 'fish the pattern'. Also included are a few audio files which will let you listen to several of the 'guest dressers' tell you about their patterns and how they fish them. | |||
